A single sheet with numbered pictures and some arrows. However if you lay the parts out and look over the pictures first, its not to hard to figure out assembly. I posted a copy as a photo that may help out before purchase. Construction looks good, well made and acceptable quality. The legs come individually bagged so they don't get scratched up in transit. All small pieces come in separate sealed plastic bags. Watch out for: The supports, black snap on pieces that hold the basket and shelf up, there are two halves to each, you can't see them in photos here, but there is one set under each corner of the shelf or basket. They are tapered slightly (Not obvious in directions), so you need to put the skinny end up, so when the shelf or basket slide over them they act like a wedge and keep it from sliding to far down.
